DTLSN empowers individuals of all ages in Wales with essential digital skills for inclusive participation in the digital age. Our diverse learning opportunities cover machine learning, creative coding, cybersecurity, and more. Through micro-credential courses, workshops, STEAM clubs, and bootcamps aligned with industry needs, DTLSN caters to a wide range of learners, from beginners to professionals, fostering inclusivity and value for all.
What is the DTLSN?
DTLSN is a digital technology learning support network which was set up in 2021. DTLSN represents a concentrated effort to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and drive societal progress in Wales through digital education and skill development.
DTLSN Aim:
DTLSN aims to work towards a future where access to digital education and skills is equitable and inclusive for all members of the community in Wales, regardless of their background or circumstances. It is about harnessing the full potential of the digital world for personal growth, economic advancement, and social inclusion.
DTLSN Objectives:
Empower individuals of all ages: DTLSN aims to empower people of all age groups with essential digital skills, ensuring that no one is left behind in the digital era.
Provide diverse learning opportunities: DTLSN offers a wide range of digital skills and digital inclusion workshops and courses covering various digital fields such as machine learning, creative coding, cybersecurity, and more. This ensures that individuals can choose learning opportunities that work for them.
Offer tailored programs: The project provides micro-credential courses, workshops, STEAM clubs, and bootcamps that can be tailored to individuals, community groups, organisations and/ or industry demands, thus equipping learners with skills that are relevant and in-demand for them.
Foster inclusivity: By catering to learners at all levels, from beginners to professionals, DTLSN fosters inclusivity within the community, ensuring that everyone can enhance their digital skills and participate actively in the digital age.
Deliver value to the community: Through its initiatives, DTLSN aims to deliver tangible value to the community by enabling people to acquire essential digital skills that are crucial for personal and professional development in today's digital-centric world.
